About the studio
One studio. Photo, film and web — made in Luxembourg.
We're a small Luxembourg studio that does three things most studios split across three suppliers: we take the photographs, we shoot and edit the films, and we build the website it all lives on. One team, one voice, one invoice — so your wedding, your brand or your business looks like itself, not like stock.
Our story
special.lu is the studio brand of Live Production S.à r.l.-S, based in Kleinbettingen, on Luxembourg's western edge near the Belgian border. We work across Luxembourg and the wider Greater Region — Belgium, France and Germany are all minutes away — and we work in the languages our clients actually speak: English, French, German, Luxembourgish and Portuguese.
The studio was founded in 2024 by Yasha Zare. We're a young studio by the calendar, but not by craft: behind special.lu is years of making things — music, painting, photography and film — and a simple conviction that the same eye should carry a project from the first frame to the finished website.
Meet Yasha Zare, founder
Yasha Zare is the founder of special.lu and the person you'll most likely meet, talk to, and work with. Iranian-born and now settled in Luxembourg, he built a life and a studio here from the ground up.
He's a multi-disciplinary creative — a maker who works in music, painting, photography and film. He has performed music publicly in Luxembourg, and that performer's instinct — reading a room, catching the moment that matters — is exactly what he brings behind the camera.

Our look is character-driven and cinematic in its grading — made to feel like you, not like a stock library. Photographs that hold up in ten years; films that feel like films.

No off-the-shelf packages forced onto your day. We listen first, then build a package and a quote around what you actually need — with no obligation.

We deliver fast and properly.
You get a private online gallery to view, choose your favourites, leave comments and download in full resolution — and we also deliver on SSD. Everything is self-hosted on our own platform: your videos play in the browser, your files stay private, and there's no third-party tracking riding along.
